Project Brief
In 1976, VKA participated in a National Competition and won the
first prize for the Master Plan of the University.

Project Brief
On a site, off the ridge, with a number of existing trees a
higher secondary school is designed.
The design proposal developed sensitive to the site conditions
contributed also to issues as safe halting points for the
children to embark disembark from cars and buses.
School design innovations arrived at in the project include
segregation of the noisy corridor from the classrooms by the
introduction of small courtyards also resulting in a very
positive relationship of the classroom with a landscaped
exterior.

Polytechnic Building

Project Brief
The Delhi Administration retained VKA to provide design
services for a Women's Polytechnic on a 10 acre site in West
Delhi.
The project brief required besides an administrative component,
lecture rooms, laboratories and a multi purpose hall.
Residential accommodation included a hostel, and staff housing
for 46 staff members.
